Research led by Cameron Hepburn, INET Oxford’s Economics of Sustainability Director and Director of the Smith School, and jointly conducted by INET Oxford and Smith School researchers, has inspired Green Recovery Now - a new student-led movement.

Green Recovery Now is an Oxford University student-led movement campaigning for urgent action to tackle the climate crisis. Though started at Oxford University, they intend to reach out to students around the world to form a global movement to put pressure on governments to invest in climate-friendly policies to boost the economic recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic.
