Biography
Daghan Carlos is an incoming DPhil in Economics Candidate at the University of Oxford, Nuffield College. He recently completed his MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford with Distinction, and prior to that received Bachelors degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Koc University, Istanbul, where he graduated as the Valedictorian.
His recent research uses microeconomic theory to understand the nature and consequences of competition between colleges for talented students. His general interests include income and wealth inequalities, market design, and the economics of education.
