Jessica has a background in political communications and campaigning, having previously worked for the human rights NGO Liberty and on various campaigns in and around the Labour Party. She has worked on issues from migrants’ rights to the climate crisis, prepared spokespeople for interviews on the Today programme, Question Time, and many others, and is a member of the New Economy Organisers Network’s Press Officer Network.
Jessica has a PhD from Cambridge University on the gender, race and class politics of mainstream economic narratives and understandings - a research topic closely informed by her communications work. She has an MA in Political Philosophy and Law from Bristol University and a BA in PPE from Oxford University. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, hiking and cooking.
