Dr Luis Valenzuela

Biography

Luis Valenzuela is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universidad Austral de Chile. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford, and did his post-doctorate at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (Oxford), in the Employment, Equity and Growth group. His research interests include the interplay between technological change and labour markets, inequality, firm productivity, market power and theory of production. Luis is a fellow of the Global Future Council on the New Economic Agenda, a consulting group of experts based at the World Economic Forum.
