Biography
Sophie Ochmann is supporting the Our World in Data team as a research assistant in global health. She works with long-term data on the disease burden of, for example, polio and smallpox and analyzes the global progress towards eradicating various infectious diseases. Prior to joining INET, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Global Economics and Management from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany and a Master of Science in Economics for Development from Oxford University.
