Dr Ernesto Carrella

Postdoctoral Research Officer

School of Geography and the Environment

Ernesto Carrella builds Agent-Based Models. He focus on economics: He likes to simulate trial and error agents through PID controllers and investigate how they stumble to equilibrium (or fail to do so). He enjoys multi-disciplinary research and now works on simulating fisheries to better manage them in the face of environmental shocks and a history of over-fishing.
