The first day will be spent brainstorming and collecting ideas and the second day focusing on producing a plan of action and dividing up the work needed to write a proposal. One or two people from each of the agent-based modeling efforts that we are hoping to bring together will attend.
There are at least three levels we can contemplate. One is a simple hosting platform, the next would be to create a common API for each of the basic parts of the models so they can be interchanged (e.g. for a macro model vs. a financial model), and the third would be to create common building blocks at a lower level, e.g. different types of contracts. Deciding which level to shoot for is one of our goals.
