Economists Nicholas Morris and David Vines will introduce their recently published book “Capital Failure: Rebuilding Trust in Financial Services”, bringing together the work of the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute’s Duty of Care in Finance Project. John Plender, FT commentator, and Christine Farnish, consumer and regulatory expert, will respond to the authors’ challenge to identify the necessary new behaviours and implement the appropriate new structures.
This will be followed by a moderated Q&A.
This event, launching the series, will be hosted in the grand Elizabethan style library at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London SW1H 9JJ.
