His work presents a new framework for understanding AI’s labor market impacts and tests it against early data to understand how AI has affected employment to date. About the Speaker
Maxim Massenkoff is an Economist at Anthropic. Previously, he was an Applied Scientist at Elicit and before that an assistant professor at the Naval Postgraduate School. His research has been covered in the New York Times, The Economist, and, importantly, Marginal Revolution. He received his PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley in 2020.
