Biography
Chiara Moruzzi is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research at the University of Milan, working on a project titled “Breaking the cycle of disadvantage: a cross-national analysis of the intergenerational persistence of poverty.”, under the supervision of Prof. Giulia Dotti Sani. Her research focuses on poverty, intergenerational inequalities, social policies and quantitative methods.
She holds a Honours Master’s degree in Data Analytics for Politics, Society and Complex Organizations and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, both from the University of Milan. Since 2023 she has been a research assistant at the spsTREND lab in Milan, where she is involved in data management, processing and quality control, and contributes to the lab’s academic activities.
