Biography
Carter is a climate scientist, economist, and investor from Toronto, Canada, and an Associate Fellow of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) at the Oxford Martin School. Carter's research focus is broad and heterodox, touching on the complex intersection of technology, economic growth, biology, computer science, and philosophy. He holds a DPhil and MSc from the Oxford Environmental Change Institute (ECI) focused on carbon cycle dynamics, and a BA in Economics from the Royal Military College of Canada.
