Biography
Daniel Schmidtner is a doctoral student at the School of Geography and the Environment and in the Complexity Economics Group at INET, supervised by Dr François Lafond. His research interest lies in environmental economics and macroeconomics. In his work, he uses econometric models and agent-based modelling.
Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences and a Master's degree in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna. His professional experience includes research assistant roles at the Austrian National Bank and the Vienna Institute for Advanced Studies.
