Biography
John Pougué Biyong is a DPhil student in Mathematics at the University of Oxford. He is jointly supervised by Prof. Renaud Lambiotte (Associate Professor of Networks, Mathematical Institute) and Prof. Doyne Farmer (Director of Complexity Economics, INET).
His current research focuses on designing mathematical, statistical and computational techniques to perform inference on networks, network embedding, and dynamic network analysis. He is also interested in epidemics modelling and deep learning for NLP.
