Biography

I am a Research Officer at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Sociology.

My research focuses on the causes and consequences of socio-economic inequality, particularly inequality in health and education, and on the transmission of socio-economic advantage across generations.

My work at INET is funded by the European Research Council as part of the Distributional National Accounts project.

Building bridges between distributional data from micro sources and national accounts aggregates to provide estimates of the distribution of income and wealth consistent with the macroeconomic national accounts, collaboration with the Paris School of Economics and University of California-Berkeley.
