Biography

Patrik Christen is Professor of Applied Mathematics at FHNW in Switzerland. He is interested in the programming and metamodelling of complex systems using methods and inspiration from computer science, mathematics, and philosophy. At INET, he is an Associate Fellow working on the programming of agent-based models in economics. Patrik’s past research includes computational biomechanics at Eindhoven University of Technology and ETH Zurich as well as mathematical biology at the University of Oxford.
