Biography

Philippe Van Kerm is Professor of Inequality and Social Policy at the University of Luxembourg and Research Director of the Luxembourg Income Study. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Namur (Belgium). His research interests are in applied micro-econometrics, labour and welfare economics and social policy. His specific areas of expertise are in the econometrics and measurement of income mobility and income distribution dynamics, wealth and income inequality, wage differentials. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Economic Inequality and of the Stata Journal.
