Biography

Sam Rowan joined the Department of Political Science at Concordia University in fall 2020 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Rowan's research focuses on global environmental politics and international cooperation, particularly institutionalized cooperation to address climate change. He completed the D.Phil. (doctorate) in International Relations at the University of Oxford. He previously completed an M.Phil. in International Relations at the University of Oxford and a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He was a postdoctoral researcher in international climate policy in the Climate Econometrics program at Nuffield College, University of Oxford in 2019/2020, where he continues as an Associate Member.
