Biography
Will Scarrold is a DPhil student in Mathematics at the University of Oxford, supervised by Prof Doyne Farmer, and is part of the Complexity Economics group at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. Will's background is in physics and economics, studying both at the University of Cambridge. Prior to beginning at Oxford, he worked as a data scientist in financial and commercial settings.
His research interests include approaches to modelling the macroeconomy that make use of complex systems theory, network theory and agent-based modelling.
