Biography

Yuan Fu is a visiting PhD student at INET and OUCE, majoring in Management Science and Engineering from the School of Management Science and Real Estate, Chongqing University, China. Her current research focuses on carbon neutrality policy analysis, utilising analytical methods such as neural networks, knowledge graphs and system mapping. Together with Dr Pete Barbrook-Johnson at INET, she combines NLP and causal map to mine and compare specific narratives and policy questions of climate policy in China and the UK.

She has a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Chongqing University and Chongqing Jiaotong University in China. During her master's degree, she also conducted research related to construction safety, unsafe behaviours, and informal groups of construction workers. Before starting her PhD, she worked as an administrator at Chongqing University for one year.
