Biography

András Borsos is a senior economist at the Applied Research Department of the Central Bank of Hungary and a researcher at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna institute. András holds a PhD in network and data science from Central European University (supervisors: János Kertész and Ádám Zawadowski), as well as degrees in applied economics and finance.

András’s research interests lie at the intersection of economic and financial dynamics with his current work focusing on the characteristics and resilience of production networks, the interactions between the real economy and the financial system, and macroprudential policies related to systemic risks.
