Biography
Lorenzo Agnelli is a research assistant at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (University of Oxford), where he supports research on economic variable prediction using rigorous methods. Additionally he is pursuing a PhD in Econometrics at the University of St Gallen (HSG), Switzerland under the supervision of Professor De Giorgi, in collaboration with Institute for New Economic Thinking at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Dr François Lafond. His interests lie in technological innovation, mathematical data analysis and econometrics.
Lorenzo holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in quantitative methods from the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI). His professional experience includes co-leading the development of a recommender system at an Italian consultancy firm and contributing to a flagship publication of a UN programme.
