Biography

Owen Haaga is a DPhil Student in the School of Geography and Environment and INET, studying new modeling techniques for labor market dynamics, with applications to industrial policy and the post-carbon energy transition.

Prior to joining INET, Owen worked for the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress, developed microsimulation models for retirement income research at the Urban Institute, and worked at several private sector quantitative consulting firms, after starting his career at the World Bank.

Owen holds an MA from the University of Maryland, an MPhil from Cambridge University, and a BA from Vanderbilt University, all in Economics.
