Biography
Tim Lennox works on the MacroCB7 project, assessing the macroeconomics of the UK’s Seventh Carbon Budget. He is on secondment from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero where he has worked for the last 5 years.
Tim's time in the civil service has focused on modelling and data science in different contexts, including publishing results from the whole systems energy model, UK TIMES, in both the UK’s Sixth Carbon Budget and the Net Zero Strategy. He has a background in mathematics, modelling, and environmental science with a particular passion for Agent Based Modelling.
