Biography
Dr. Anthoulla Phella is a Lecturer in Econometrics at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, where she has been a member of the macroeconomics research cluster since Autumn 2021. She is also an associate of Climate Econometrics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Her research interests lie in time series econometrics and applied macroeconomics, with a current emphasis on macro-at-risk frameworks and climate econometrics.
She holds a Ph.D. and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Surrey, and an M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she has also held teaching positions. During her doctoral studies, she spent time at the European Central Bank as a Ph.D. trainee in the Monetary Analysis Division, contributing extensively to macro-at-risk projects as part of the institution's Strategy Review.
