Biography
Benjamin Wagenvoort is a research analyst at the European Central Bank. He is also an associate fellow at the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School.
He received his PhD in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford, where he researched the diffusion of technologies. His research focuses on the universality and predictability of technology diffusion, and making probablistic predictions of new and emerging technologies related to the digital and energy transition, and how these transitions may impact the economy.
He also holds an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Amsterdam University College.
